Long-term achievements:
~ Spread throughout Puerto Rico the Handbell art. (Right now Puerto Rico counts with
over twenty choirs around the island)
~ Teach the art of playing bells in different levels (Preparatory, Intermediate, and
Advanced level)
~ Make islandwide activities, such as the Handbell Workships, in order to meet other
choirs,
~ Season concerts. Every year has the Choir made a summer and christmas concert.
~ Choir representation in the Fortaleza, the Capitol, through Teleonce, in the Luis A.
Ferré Fine Arts Center, the
Tapia Theater, the Institute of Culture, the Ateneo, the Music Conservatory,
lots of Municipal theaters, Shopping
Centers, and churches throughout Puerto Rico.
~ Has played along with famous artists, such as Chucho Avellanet, Danny Rivera, and The
Symphonic Choir of Puerto Rico.
~ Trips to Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Arizona four times, Daytona Beach in Florida,
California, New Mexico, and Virginia. It
has also been part of the famous international show, "Don
Francisco".
Short-term achievements:
~ Trip to The Magic Music Days in Disney World
~ The Choir was part of the "Puerto Rican Dance Festival" at the Luis A. Ferré
Fine Arts Center.
~ Choir's representation at the Capitol.
~ Trips to the Handbell Exploration in 1998 and 1999.
~ Presented a concert through the tv program "Despierta América".
~ Play with Gilberto Santa Rosa at the Luis A. Ferré Fine Arts Center.
